Hey.
I finished my build 2 months ago and i already want to upgrade.
Was wodering what you pro's would upgrade first with a budget of £300.
My 2 first upgrades would be another 8gb of RAM and a better GPU.

Spectifications:
MSI Z370 tomahawk
i5 8500
8gb Ballistic TT DDR4 RAM
Gigabyte GT1030
Evga supernova G2 550W

Peripherals:
Samsung SJ55W 3440x1440p
Superlux HD668B
Corsair M65 PRO
Corsair k55

Was thinking of getting Cooler Master RGB fan controller for £30 which is a scam...

3. RGB controller

the commander version if you have also got rgb fans in your chassis , else the normal pro.

for the gpu a 1070/1070ti
I would skip ram, people overreact with 16gb ram. Im content and am not hitting a ram bottleneck with 8gb.

you could also put a rgb strip behind your desk and monitor for a nice afterglow( go to a regular led webshop for this).

The 8500 can handle pretty much any GPU out there.

You're running a 1440p ultrawide off a GT1030? You must not play games. Please tell what you do with your computer. It's possible that more RAM is more beneficial than a GPU you don't use.

Also, the RTX2060 is launching at CES in January. That should lower the price of 1070/1070Ti

Surprisingly CSGO plays well on high!
Wanting to upgrade as i am wanting to play better games that i know the 1030 wont be able to handle!

Just purchased 1080ti aorus!
Afraid of insatlling as the 1030 doesnt need any more power with a cable.
would you know what power input the aorus needs? And the g2 550w should be able to handle it?

all source games, and most mobas are cpu bound.

g2 can handle any graphics card.

second hand is defenetly worth it , if you get a recipe and you know it wasnt used for mining.
