Ping/Internet Looking For solution

Hello everyone,
I am currently trying to find a way to keep my ping in games less than 20 at almost all times. I have tried everything in my power to fix that.
BTW. I cannot get the router/modem in my room i have tried a powerline adapter but that just crashes my whole internet.

Current Network Setup:
Router: netgear nighthawk xr500
Modem: motorola arris white something
Wifi card: net gear nighthawk ac1900
Wifi Down:171
Wifi Up:12
Ping in BO4: ~30-40
Fortnite ~35-45

Please help me find a solution to this

And we still have no tested results from the OP, if he were to run this via Cat5e instead of WiFi.
Or what supposed ping he has between the PC and the router, via the existing WiFi.

So I just tested the ping from the pc to router and its was 3, 19, 3, 19

Scratch that I found a 26 dollar cat5e flat ethernet cable

My download is 175 my up is 11. Ping that speedtest.net gives me 12

The "flat" ethernet cables are not standard. Too thin gauge.

Yes.
This is a temporary test, to isolate your WiFi from being an issue.
If it works a little bit better, THEN you can take the time to route that cable properly.

Just string the cable around the house until you get to the router.
Don't trip over it.
