If not, could someone *please* point me in the direction of Cutlass Cove?!
I've had this damned game three weeks now, and I *still* can't find it!

Thanks!

The landmarks are randomly set each game. You need at least as much of the
treasure map to give you a nearby town, to know the general area; or stumble
across that particular landmark.

Settlements, pirate havens, missions and indian villages are also
randomly generated.

Once you've played the game a lot, you start to be able to recognise
areas from the shape of the coastline (if any) on the map. In some
cases, experienced players can often find the subject of the map with
only one piece. It isn't usually that easy, though. ;-)

One thing I've noticed is that Montalban's hideout tends to be in
roughly the same area as a Lost City. I once stumbled upon the hideout
when I only had one piece of the map showing where it was - and it
didn't even have the X on it!

Thanks - I have the whole map - "search SE of Villa Habana" is the
directional instruction, which leads me neatly on to my next frustration -
how do we know where north is, to get our bearings? I used to orienteer in
my youth, and and my compass had directions on it! If there's no clue where
north is, how the bleedin' heck do I work out which way SE is?! I played the
original (both of them) and I seem to recall than north was marked on the
compass. I have searched the entire Caribbean, and I still can't find it!

Any further clues, anyone?
