Howdy Folks,
Been waiting patiently for a year for someone to release my favourite
plane, but alas nothing has been seen to date 🙁
I'm gonna take the plunge and build one myself. It should be a relatively
easy one, open cockpit mono-wing tailwheel, no flaps etc...
I'm done some 3D work, but never made a "game model" before. I am very
familiar with MAX, so the GMAX stuff should be okay, it's the entire
process that I'd like to see a tutorial or overview for.
Something along the lines of:
- grab a decent 3-view
- make a 3d mesh
- ensure that the left aileron is a seperate object called "l-aileron"
- etc...
- paint the mesh
- load up the panel SDK, design/draw the panel
- edit a file called "myplane.cfg" with the planes configuration data
- etc...
