I'm going to be building a new rig soon, and i would like some opinions or suggestions about my intended build. I don't plan on crossfiring any time soon - I already have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard.

Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 Intel P67 (REV B3)
PSU: 750W Corsair TX750 V2 PSU
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 6950 (MSI Twin FrozR III)
RAM: 8GB Mushkin Radioactive (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz
Storage (Main): 1TB Samsung F3
Storage (Boot): 160GB Western Digital Caviar Blue
Drive: LG GH24NS70 24x DVD±RW DL
Chassis: NZXT M59

I don't really plan on getting an SSD, as they are quite expensive, and will most likely wait for the price to drop.

Thanks in advance!

The 2600K does nothing the 2500K doesn't do in regards to gaming. The 2600K only advantage is that it's hyper threaded and that only plays into effect for programs that utilize hyper threading...which nixes gaming. That Asrock board down below comes with the new PCI-E 3.0 slots for the new generation vid cads due out whenever.
