I'm planning a new PC build after many years. I feel like I need an overlook to see if anything is missing or if any parts should be swapped. I am a fan of RGB and want it to be easily controllable. Preferably without the use of Asus Aura/Armoury Crate. I'm still not sure about the GPU, might go for a 4070 Ti Super. The PNY 4080 Super is on a little sale, only today. RAM is also something I'm willing to reconsider.

The ram you picked has Intel's X.M.P, would be a good idea if you picked up ram that had AMD's E.X.P.O on it;
I'd look into this kit;

or look at a higher priced kit, like the one made by Corsair under their Dominator Titanium series. If you're able to get the latest BIOS version onto the motherboard after firing it up for the first time with the ram kit listed in your parts list, then disregard my suggestion.

If you do end up with stability issues, you can return the ram kit for something with AMD's E.X.P.O baked into the ram kit.

You want a ATX 3.0 psu for these RTX 40XX cards due to the PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR cable. Look at DDR5-6000 CL30 AMD EXPO for these AM5 cpu's.

I see G.skill has the same RAM with AMD E.X.P.O which I could go for. Are G.skill trident bad RAM?

I did add a cablemod adapter for the 12VHPWR. Would that not work well? I also found the RAM with AMD E.X.P.O support.

That works or you could just get a ATX 3.0 psu.
