Hi guys im planning to build my computer can you help me out if I will take the i5 8400 or i5 9600k?

My current VC is GTX ASUS Dual 1060 3gb OC
RAM is 16gb Hyper X Predator
MOBO is MSI 360M Bazooka
PSU is 500w

Question is Is there gonna be a problem and any inputs?

I'm not familiar with how you guys say bottleneck is there gonna be a problem?

Is it worth it to pump more $100 for 9600k with my current specs? (8400 is $180 and 9600k is $280)

I'll use it 85% pure gaming and 15% for my office related work.

Thank you for your help.

Solution
There's not much overclocking head room for third gen Ryzen, especially due to the fact that the 3600 is a lower tier binned chip. Just enable precision boost overdrive and call it a day.
With the motherboard, you're losing out on the features that make the 9600k worth it (OC, XMP, Fine tuning, etc).
I would just buy the 8400 unless you plan to upgrade your motherboard too.

Isn't it 8400 is better than 9400F?
In performance - almost same even 5-10% better.. Plus this is current and cheaper than 8400..
With the price of 8400
You could get 9400f + an aftermarket cooler..
One cons.. 9400f don't have any iGPU..
Bt you have GPU already you won't need iGPU!

So what do you guys prefer anyway the R5 3600 or R5 3600x? Also is there any thing I should expect from a AMD chip? Because i've been a intel i5 guy for almost 10 years. Haven't used AMD before.
