Playing games with a SSE(1) proccesor, Is it possible?

Im beefing up my old PC to play minor games that use Source Engine or unreal 3. I have an AMD Xp SSE(1) Type proccesor and wont currently run most games i want to play. What should i do? Thanks

Would have to upgrade the CPU. If the CPU does not support the required features to run the games engine then you can't "trick" it or "force" it to do so.

Your processor is an AMD Athlon XP which is ancient by today's standards, its nearly 15 years old.

You need to build or buy a new PC. This processor will never handle anything even vaguely new even minor stuff.

sorry for not bieng specific enough. Is thier a way to play that certain amount of games without spending any money on a proccesor upgrade?
