PlayStation 4 Price Mistakenly Leaked?

If it had an SSD they would announce this already. SSD aren't cheap and they want to get the most $$$ out of this so in business 101 it's a straight NO. However I'm sure they thought ahead and it will have compatibility in the future.

Off topic here, but, no SSD just reminds me of playing Oblivion on my friend's console. He had been complaining about load times and I said that I hadn't even really noticed the load screens on the PC. The console was so slow that leaving a building would usually take 30-60 seconds. Ugh, I can understand playing sports, driving, or 'adventure' games on a console, but FPS, RTS, RPG, etc games are far better on PC.

If its a standard notebook HDD, lets hope the extra ram in the ps4 allows it to load most of the game before playing, although that will take a while.

If this is really $500 it's going to be a tough sell and makes things like Shield a decent buy. There is nothing special in either new console (heck ms looks like made a Dell SFF PC) and Shield gets my PC vid card to tv anyway. On top of that it's portable, plays movies (so a sort of bluray on the go for mkv's etc) in any hotel etc with an hdmi tv, plays android games which are clearly getting massively better when I'm out of the home. These won't sell at anything over $350. The hardcore consolers will buy at xmas then Q1 watch for the drop just like WIIU. 60% of game devs at GDC 2013 are making games for mobile (android), while only 11-13% are planning anything for xbox-one/ps4. Even PC's garnered ~40% of game devs. These are dead before release. Never mind the lackluster specs and features. 250GB? Forcing a connect purchase from MS I'd never use anyway? They are trying hard NOT to sell these if you ask me. The last gen had hard drives bigger than this and we're expected to believe they want us to download more games than purchased boxed? Maybe with a 2TB drive in there for that price.
Raise your hand if you're going to browse the web in a little box on MS console while watching tv...LOL. Can you read that even on a 60in? Basically a 10-17in monitor at 12-20ft? I wouldn't browse on my desktop with that small of a monitor...ROFL. USELESS. They should have put everything they had into the POWER of the boxes and had you add all the useless features you wanted later at extra cost. Instead we get a bunch or crap, and a box that can barely do 1080p at 30fps with every detail on. This is why carmack etc all say aim for 30fps or get ready to turn stuff off. MS should have taken the kinect out and doubled the vid chip in it or even more for 4K (quadrupled the chip?). I have plans for a 4k tv in the next 2-3yrs but the consoles will be stuck at 1080p for 8yrs. They should have delayed for 20nm gpu's and put out something that REALLY wowed you for the next 8yrs. Raise your hand if you don't ALREADY have something that plays movies (roku, old ps3, bluray etc). These needed to be concentrated GAME machines to be special, not jack of all trades good at nothing machines.

Fix the freaking comment system so when I hit a few returns it will actually separate the dang paragraphs! WTH? How long are you guys going to keep this crap going? What was wrong with the old system? This is total failure. From posting repeatedly if you hit refresh, no CR's acknowledged, buttons that don't always appear etc...Failed posts...Who designed this crap system?

I dont know if this will add any value.
But india uses rupees and the fact that they priced it at exactly 299 euros seems a little iffy to me.
Itll more likely to be a rounded amount stated in rupees
