Hello everyone i want to ask can you guys build me pc 500$ pc with gtx 960 and i3 4160. Also i need 8gb of ram and 1tb of storage.

I only have gtx 960 and i3 4160 as parts that im going to build right now. As for other parts i need help with it. I want to ask if anyone can find others part for the build

Any preferences on size ? Do you want slim or normal mid tower case ? Or maybe even Full tower ? Plans for future upgrades ?

You can decide on what to remove i guess. If you have OS, you are fine, else you can remove SSD for a start.
You could change monitor, if you are used to 21.5 or 22'', still 24 looks good.
Also if you don't play fast paced games, some 5ms monitors will do the job, depends on what you play.
About PSU, 550w and 650w at the same price so its better to have a little of advance, if you plan to change CPU and VGA in future.
RAM is worth it, 16G kit. Yes you can get 8GB also, cheaper.

I am not sure, that he got a CPU cooler.
Not sure why you say, no asus mobo, i guess that you had bad experience with em.
Still i agree about the cooler, he can use stock one.
And when he upgrades the CPU, could think about some different cooling solution.
