Please help me choose a mobo for E6850

Trying to build a new system with 3.0Ghz E6850/FSB1333MHz and Radeon 3870, AM board with 3800+ just died a few days ago, so now it looks like a perfect time to switch to Intel. I'm not into overlocking, just basically looking for a quality board, is there a difference between motherboards under $100 and over $100. I also noticed some boards have 1333FSB and others 1066, it's probably doesn't make sense to look at 1066 boards?

A good P35 mobo should serve you well. Something like this
GIGABYTE GA-P35-S3L. Prices should be going down for CPUs the first of the year but right know I think the 6750 would give you more bang for the buck.

Whatever you do stay away from the Asus P35 based motherboards! Check even the Asus forums and NewEgg reviews. I recommend the Asus P5E X38 chipset with two full speed 16x PCI-Express 2.0 slots.

I agree with g-paw. Go with the DS3L. Its a solid board, OCs well and stable.
