please help me is it my corsair psu or ups intex that is shutting down pc due to gaming?

my config is fx6300, asus r9 280 dcuii top,
asus m5a97 r2.0, nzxt 230h, win 8.1 enterprise,vs 650 psu corsair, 12gb ram ddr3 1600Mhz corsair vengeance,ups intex 600va, cooler master 212x hyper,asus xonar dx sound card


its the game metro last light redux, no matter temp of gpu and cpu stays at 78 and 55C respectively, but when there is no power from the main supply my pc shuts down automatically while running game only. secondly i noticed when iam playing this game if there are power fluctuations even for milli seconds the pc shutsdown.

in both cases(either when no power or power fluctuation) the ups beeps leaving the pc in shutdown condition. let me tell you my ups is fully charged and can give back up upto 20mins, even so while playing this game it shutsdown, not sure what is the problem while ups is fully charged.

when i running movies or music or some other apps softwares other than the heavy loaded games my pc keeps on running no matter what power fluctuations or power failure from main supply. it keeps running till 20mins of my ups back is utilised..

so please help me why it happens shutting down of pc while gaming only?

also tell me will hardware failure of the pc's components become if this shutting down problem keeps on repeating ?

my psu is corsair vs650 and ups is intex brand 600va

It sounds to me like your UPS is not able to provide enough power when under a load. When you're just watching movies, your graphics card is hardly working at all. It doesn't take much to play a video. If you're playing a game on max settings, you're calling for a lot more power than the UPS can provide. If I'm not mistaken, that UPS is only rated for about 360w. If you try to take more than that, it shuts down because it's sensing a surge and cannot provide enough. The beeping is an alarm, alerting you that it's just got a surge.

It seems that your pc is not able to provide backup properly when your system is consuming more power like while playing heavy games and all. I think you need to check your UPS if it is able to provide backup for these type of heavy games otherwise you need to increase its capacity.

Get a bigger UPS.
Games always pull more power due to the constraint they have on a system. Watching a video is no constraint , nor is music.
