Does not include OS btw
In particular will 2 7970 ghz edition cards and a pci sound card (xonar stx) fit on the asrock extreme4 mobo?

Lol!

K guys i am just going to put inside games that are Nvidia based just so i can show you that AMD suck balls!

is pretty much what you are saying when putting up BF3 and Batman up which prefers Nvidia so much more

how about you go ask tom why a 670 is much more preferred over a 680

$100 less for about the same performance. all 670 is, is a 680 with 1 disabled streaming core

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html

how about you just read up on this thread instead
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6025/radeon-hd-7970-ghz-edition-review-catching-up-to-gtx-680

it also shows that 670 is not very far behide a 680 and he is going to do mutlimonitor which AMD rules over Nvidia

MasterMace, I do not know if you realize this, but there are so many things wrong with that post it is hilarious.

1- You conveniently show off only the games that were practically made for the Nvidia cards.

2- You Left out the equal number of games that are favoring AMD where the AMD cards have ridiculously higher frames than the nvidia ones (more so than they should)

3-In that very review you say proves me wrong it sates in the conclusion that the 7970ghz is better than the 680.

4-That toms review is extremely outdated and with the new benchmarks including updated drivers (not even the ridiculously better brand new ones) toms clearly states the 7970 is victorious. I will even provide a link. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7970-ghz-edition-review-benchmark,3232.html

5-If you are trolling do us all a favor and stfu

6- If not, then I appreciate your help and effort in finding me a good card but i am pretty damn sure the 7970ghz is better. Unless you can find benchmarks that are modern and do not have biased games then be my guest because all I want is the best single gpu card (or two of them).

As for the CPU, you need to look into benchmarks that actually open up the bottleneck, or look at titles that are CPU intensive. (both of which toms has been reluctant to do for whatever reason as of late)

Here's a few examples of how much the CPU can affect your performance

3-Way SLI/Crossfire bottlenecks it (and not by a little bit) and needs an i7 overclocked to open it up.

I had already posted a few multi-monitor benchmarks boulbox, you can see them up there, and the 680 was performing better.

boulbox had previously posted a number of benchmarks covering a range of games, including those favoring amd, and the GTX 680 beating the 7970 in a number of AMD favored posts. 2 people came out and said not to get the GTX 680. 1 of them said it's the same as the 670. My post was intended to deflect against that, and thus it reflects that position.

You want to see a "Gaming Evolved" benchmark? Sure. Let's look at how well it does in an AMD favored game, that just came out. Far Cry 3:

Neck and neck.

Are there plenty of games where AMD does better? Yes. When somebody comes around and says "no it's bad" or "don't get it" I beg to differ. Even in Far Cry 3, it's still right there, but it's runs cooler than the 7970, and it uses less power.

*P.S.*
You can always overclock the GTX 680 to cover the gap or go past it.

Also, there are plenty of games where the i3 is bottlenecking the system.

I imagine if I had more time to look, I could find you how well they scale past the i5, but sadly, I'm out of time.

7970ghz is officially the fastest single graphics card especially after the latest driver.
