I haven't picked out an operating system, or a sound card. This is just from scrap, and i have no idea what i'm doing. I have a total of about 2,000 dollars to spend, and am looking for the best deal! Any advice? Am I forgetting anything?

IMO, this is the best case/PSU combo available, I would pick it over the Antec choices you had: CM Storm Sniper and Corsair 850tx

So with shipping, that comes to about $1935, then you get $90 MIR, and two free COD games (keep one and sell the other for $35 back). You probably don't need a sound card, try the onboard audio first because its pretty good these days. Only people with really fancy surround sound speakers and highly tuned ears really need a sound card. If you find you do need a sound card, then its an easy add on later.

I doubt you could tell which one was which if they were side by side. I know I couldn't.

Nope, not really. Take your time when putting it together and make sure its in a non-staticy area, and read the manual. Hunt around on newegg to see if there are better combo's/ deals, I don't think you will find many though. Sometimes microcenter or buy.com or ewiz.com have some better prices, so hunt around. Otherwise, you have one hell of a beast of a machine there, I'm jealous ;)
