Question Please Help

I am getting microstutters anywhere from 1% to 30% in every game I play minus a select few that either i cant notice or it just doesnt happen. I tried two gpus, new ram and repasted with my bios and chipset being the latest I can get.

Power is in a PSU issue/failure/defect.

Are you currently at default, stock speeds across the board?

Until you are 100% stable at stock, there is little chance of successfully troubleshooting tweaked settings.

The psu is less than a year old just installed like 3 months ago?? With wired network connection and yes it's still happening in all games

Have you scanned for malware recently?

Did you ever remove the case cover and run with the system "open"?

Do you have access to another GPU that could be swapped for testing?

I'm running windows 10 and fully up to date and I have scanned for malware with none being on my system. I have ran with the case cover open and it didn't seem to change much, I did have a previous gpu in here which was a 6750xt that I swapped for the gre and had the same stuttering issue as I did with the gre

Have you tried using a wireless connection to compare the performance with the wired connection?

I would also suggest that you consider upgrading to Win 11, support for 10 ends next year.

I haven't tried a wireless connection no but I can try that in just a bit and I'll upgrade it too while I'm at it. I was debating on doing it anyways so I'll go ahead with it

I tried with wireless and w11 and the issue is still happening and at the same spot in the benchmark as before

I tried with SAM on and off and it still happens

GPU has been ruled out, as has network and OS, and apparently memory.

BIOS should be at default. No OCing of any sort.

We are down to CPU and motherboard, possibly the SSD. Thinking...

Please describe your case's cooling config. How many fans and what direction are they flowing.

Typically, front, side, and bottom fans are intake. Top and rear are exhaust.

I have 2 140mm fans in the front as intake and 1 120mm at the back as exhaust

I just double checked to be sure and they are both set to push air towards the rear fan

I did have it with my old cpu but I never used it and sold it a few months ago with the cpu and box. I didnt order the wraith cooler with the new one since I already had an air cooler

I actually cant remember though I did remember something now and when I was playing battlefield 2042 and 1 I had no stutters or atleast none that I could actually notice or see like I can in elden ring and no mans sky

Also, is your SSD in the m.2 slot nearest the CPU or the other one?
