PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Hello, I hav a serious problem and i was wondering if any1 can help me out. Well the problem is that when I start up my computer, my screen is totally black and there are continous beeps. Iam pretty sure this is a overheating problem cus i left my computer on for a long time last night so.... if you are wondering the model is a Gateway GT5656. If any1has any solutions please help

Hi,

Since it's a gateway, you might have problems with power supply, mobo or cpu.

First look into the box and remove dust especially from the cpu / gpu fan .

Also check to see if anything is loose.
If you have an onboard VGA, remove the one in the box and try to boot from onboard.

Also, the beeps are a signal that indicates whats wrong, google Bios Beep codes and count the beeps. It should point you in the right direction.
