Hi guys! So, this is going to be my first build. Before I buy all these parts, I need your opinion. I will mostly be using it to do school works, watch movies, listen to music, and play games.

I already have HDD so I don't need to buy another one, in case anybody wondering.

The parts are as follow:

How is this build? And I still need a Wireless Network Adapter to go along with my current dorm's wifi. Any recommendation?

9.5/10. The parts are all great, and you will get awesome performance and overclocks. I'd have to see a picture of cable management to give it a 10/10, as it is a big part of building a PC.

Hi Jacob. Yeah, that's what I'm concern about. I've been reading about cables, their names and uses. Still, I guess cable management will be quite challenging. I've been thinking of getting one of these: http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/58-premium-cable-starter-kit.html. What do you think?

Also, do you have any recommendation for wireless network adapter?

I have almost the exact same build. For a wireless card i recommend the Asus pce-n53 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-wireless-network-card-pcen53. It suppots dual band wifi and can reach speeds of up to 300mb/s. Your current ram is very good but for 2$ more you could get the corsair vengeance pro version test clocked at 2133 timings (9-11-11-31) though you will need to set this in the Bios http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmy8gx3m2b2133c9r . Also you may want to spend the little extra bit to get the 4gb edetion of your graphics card http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-04gp43774kr other than that good luck with your build

That asus wireless network adapter looks very good. I'll take one of that. I'll look the corsair vengeance pro out. I don't really get the different between those two. For the GPU, since I only have 1 asus vg248qe 24 inch monitor and am not planning on buying more... I don't really get the appeal of video ram more than 2 GB.

Its your standard high end build. You don't need that odd cable kit for sure, and article silver 5 is kind of an odd choice. There have been better choices for a decade or so, its conductive and its ridiculously expensive for how well it performs. Granted thermal paste doesn't make much difference anyway but I still cringe when I see someone buying AS5 just because it was THE paste in early 2000

As you crank up the settings in highly textured games(like Bf4) 2gb of vram can become problamatic. I you go over the 2gb you will run in to buffering issues. This will also effect performance in a few years or if you get a higher resolution screen (don't completely block out the idea of having a better monitor) .Plus the 4gb edition is only 20$ more (and from a more trusted retailer). As for the ram the higher clock speeds will not make much of a difference in most games but video editing and cpu intensive games such as bf4 could actually benefit substantially from the extra speed. It is also only 2 $ more. (keep in mind you will have to essentially over clock it to the tested speed, latency and voltage in the bios but this is quite easy and there are many informational video's).

Ok, I will listen to you and buy the 4GB version one. For the RAM, I will stick with the normal version because I don't really feel like tweaking anything in the bios. I will maybe do some tweaking in the next build. Since this is only my first build, I want to take it slowly 1 step at a time.

Ah, I bought the Corsair PSU already. I will stick with Corsair. I heard a lot of good things about them. I'm sure CM make good psu too though.

And I changed my build a little bit too. I bought ASUS Z87-PRO motherboard instead of Maximus Hero ROG board, because I want the Wi-Fi from pro. I originally want the hero because of the sound, but I'm sure I'll be fine without it.
