under $200 in AGP?
You can get the 6600 GT, X1600 PRO, X800 GTO, or 6800 GS.
The X800 GTO and 6800 GS are quite a bit better than the 6600 GT and X1600 PRO when it comes to gaming.
The X1600 is a decent gamer, certainly not as good as the X800 GTO or 6800 GS, but it's the best of the listed options for video encoding and playback.
Oh yeah... you're in Canada.
So no sub-$200 X800 GTO or 6800 GS for you...
The 512mb X1600's in AGP run at X1600 PRO spec, I believe.
(500 Mhz core, 390 Mhz memory (A.K.A. 780 Mhz DDR memory)
THE AMOUNT OF VIDEOCARD MEMORY IS ALMOST MEANINGLESS!
Don't get hooked up on it. It does almost NOTHING for performance.
You are better off with a 64mb Geforce4 Ti4200 than with a 512mb GeforceFX 5200... it's all about the chipset.
I am not sure of any sites that ship to Canada outside of the big name retailers.
Sorry about the prices, those are US.
IN canada under $200, you might be able to get a 6600 GT or X1600 in AGP...

Sorry, I saw the Canada thing and took it at face value. ZipZoomFly is good for their shipping. One thing about the PSU though, it is an off brand, and that wattage is probably just before it blows up. It is probably closer to 300, maybe 350 constant watts. Just thought I'd make you aware, you might want to bump up the juice a little on it.
Ok - I am in the US of A... Florida.
I want to get the BEST card I can get under 200 in USA... Tigerdirect any good?
I looked, and newegg doesn't have that vid card anymore. At least not for that price.
As for the PSU, if you don't mind waiting, I say try it with what you got, if it doesn't work, you can upgrade then.
OK guys... are ANY of the All in Wonder's worth it? Is it better to get one of those PCI 40 dollar jobs, if all I really want to do is WATCH Tv on the computer...
Anyone have any other solution . . . ?
I still havent found a good price on the graphics card... best deal is at zip...
they make an x800 one, but it is PCI-E and almost $300. There is a $177 dollar one, but its based on the Radeon 9600, and not worth it in my opinion.
