First things first you will bottleneck your GPU as bad as an LA offramp. Second your board is not very high end and you are probably risking issues due to this. Thirdly I would definitely go for 8gb of ram as modern OS tend to eat up two go by themselves and 2gb for programs is only a handful of chrome tabs. Overall this system MAY be able to start skyrim without crashing instantly however next gen games will fail to boot entirely on the lowest settings

sigh* Why must people throw around the bottleneck term like this, truth is there is always a bottleneck in any given system. In this case it's not quiet black or white so to speak..It won't "bottleneck" it too significantly, but it really is game dependent, games that are more cpu bound will hurt your performance..

Skyrim will play fine with 4gb of ram and it's not a game that utilizes multicore cpu's.If you are building this pc from scratch I would advice on focusing your budget to where it matters, if your budget is tight I would suggest the FX-6300 over the fx 4300 with the preference being an fx 8350.I highly suggest getting 8gb of ram however as 4gb is a thing of the past for modern gaming.

Motherboard I suggest = http://www.gigabyte.ie/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5195#ov it's a solid budget board . If you can provide a budget and where you are located, I would be able to provide you a build to your budget.
