Poor FPS in WoW

Hi guys,
I tried looking at other threads but could not find a solution to my problem. I have been experiencing very poor graphics in WoW. I have been upgrading my rig and other games run fine, but for some reason, WoW seems to be giving me the proverbial middle finger.

I have:
i5 3570K OC to 4.3MHz
8GB Ram
P8z77V-LX MoBo
Asus HD7850 video card (OC and stock speeds give same FPS)
Windows 7 64Bit on SSD along with my games.
Monitor: 21' AcerX203H
The drivers are updated and I just reinstalled WoW with the same problems.

I get around 20-30 FPS in the Pandaria (out in the world) on ultra settings. Even on high, the FPS go to 40-45. I tried Diablo and Skyrim, both were giving me 60 FPS (I use MSI afterburner to keep FPS at 60 for these games).
I keep monitoring my temps. The processor temp does not go above 56C and the GPU stays at around 50 with fan at 50%.

Is there anything that I am missing. I have tried the WoW recommended setting and it always loads ultra for me, but the FPS I get is miserable.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. My power supply is old and I would replace it soon. Its only 500MW. Could that be the problem?

Since other games run fine, hardware shouldn't be the issue. Maybe try to reset WoW's (graphic) settings and/or turn off shadows.

Tried turning shadows to low. No change in FPS. Also tried deleting "Cache" folder, no difference. Even a freaking reinstall of WoW was useless. I am stumped.

Launch WoW under DX 11 mode.

Try setting WoW to use one core under Task Manager.

I was referring to the Config.wtf file. You can delete it, WoW will recreate it with default settings on start-up.

Like MajinCry, try DX 11, if it's not running at it already.

Try to disable VSync and/or whatever you did with MSI Afterburner.

After all, WoW's FPS has always been jumpy for me, too.

It is running on DX11. Had tried DX9 too, but no difference. Setting it to use one core did provide ocassional jumps to high 50s, but it dropped to the same when I would encounter other players or start fighting. I will try to delete config.wtf now and see if that works.
Kinda sucks though, I just bothers me that such a good game wont perform well on what I think is a reasonable machine.

Some game engines just don't perform very well, despite capable hardware.

I'm going to go with Sunius on this one. Install the add on manager WOW Matrix. Delete all of your add ons and restart WOW with no add ons. If your FPS are back up to where they should be then you've found the issue.

Exit WOW and load WOW Matrix then install the newest versions of your add ons. If the problem appears again then one of your add ons is killing your FPS, go through them one by one until you find the culprit.

Edit: Your system is superior to mine and I currently run MOP at 1920 x 1080 on Ultra. I get 60 FPS while solo / questing and in SW during peak times it drops to high 40's / low 50's.
