Before you begin, I'd like to thank you for your time, I truly appreciate the community here.

Current country of residence: Japan
Budget: ~$1500-$2500 USD
Accessories owned/not needed: keyboard, mouse, monitors, speakers, mousepad
Goal: very small form-factor, but powerful portable computer (that ideally would fit in luggage) as I will be traveling in the future, but I'm in dire need of an upgrade. My current computer is a gaming laptop running a GTX 670m that I've had for 4 years now. I prefer minimalist cases with good airflow/cooling, so I don't need a case window or fancy LEDs.

Currently considering these:

Why 3 drives?:
250GB SSD for OS (I know it's a little overkill), 500GB SSD for quick-loading demanding games, 1 TB HDD for storage

GFX:
I plan to buy a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 for my graphics card.

Case:
I had looked at the Corsair Obsidian 350D case, but I'm not sure and would like to hear your comments.

I need suggestions/refinements for cheap upgrades or alternatives and I also need a small, portable (microATX?) case.

Solution
If it's supposed to be portable, I only find the case a bit on the big side. I find it hard to determine myself what would fit in luggage. Of course it depends on the transportation method. But I would try to stay below 400mm on each side.
