[SOLVED] Possible 8-pin PCIe mismatch on 5700 XT

I have a Sapphire 5700x Nitro + and I'm trying to hook up a couple 8-pin PCIe cables to a Corsair HX1000i modular PSU. I'm using a 6+2 pin cable and the shape of one of the pin slots does not seem to match up with the port on the graphics card. Check the top-right pin slot on the cord and the top-left slot on the card.

I can't seem to find another example of the card's PCIe layout, so I'm thinking (hoping) that it's just a design quirk and that it's just a normal ground (?) pin. I just want to confirm before I end up doing anything stupid.

Is your concern that the pin is rounded but the corresponding receptacle is square? That's nothing to be concerned about. It's only an issue if there's a square pin lining up with a rounded hole.

I mean, you can end up with the shapes preventing you from plugging it in (without forcing it), which is a pretty good indication you're trying to plug something in that you shouldn't. But yeah, otherwise they don't really matter.
