About every seven to ten days, I get a message that states:

"Sorry need to update your computer", and starts to download from [to?] my computer. The message is on a light blue background, with a tilted sad face in a block. I immediately shut down my computer and restart.
Is this a hacker attempting to gather information? It does not appear to be a MS update. It's only when I am on the internet. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

OK, Finally got to read the message. Mystery solved. Code read: Video TDR Failure.

Video_TDR_Failure happens when too many display related errors take place and the computer eventually shows a Blue Screen of Death. The Timeout, Detection & Recovery are components of windows and stand for TDR. Whenever there is a long delay these components help to stop BSODs from happening by resetting the GPU or the driver.

UPDATE: Problem solved so far. With Gigabyte OSD Sidekick, I had been running games in the movie mode on Tomb Raider I-VI remastered due to darkness of the game. Since, I've turned it down to the RPG setting and so far A OK.
