So, last night i turned off my pc as usual. When i came to my office this morning my Surge Protector where my PC was plugged was burned out. I tested my PC on a new surge protector, it worked fine no error codes/messages (no smell from inside). I opened case and inspected inside seems fine as well. PSU seems woking too.
Do you think something might have damaged that i dont know about?
Or should i consider myself lucky this time?
My specs are
I5-4590
Gigabyte Z97x-ud5h motherboard
8gb ram
EVGA Supernove 650W G2 80+ Gold PSU.
Like i said before PC boots fine without errors and no visual damage to the components.
But i dont think it was power surge, because the clock was plugged in same outlet but no into surge protector and wasnt damaged.
