Hello Tom's Hardware community, I am back with more problems. My computer uses 500W power supply( atx), and years ago it stopped powering the unit, now i purchased a generic 700W powersupply, it powers the fan ( heatsink) and harddrive, bost no POST comes up, I removed the RAM and got a beep, the GPU and also got a beep, this leads me to thinking the mobo is fine. Is there any way to get it working? i made sure none was shorted ( even discharged my self before touching, and i put rubber on the screw mounts on the Mobo, still no POST.
