Firstly, I would like to say thanks for this thread as it actually prompted me to take my rig and dust it off and take some photos of it.

My rig is still incomplete as I have been in a very tight budget and I have made some compromises as I was building it. I am still saving to add some parts to it.

I am using an Aerocool VS9 case, with two clear fans with blue leds on the side panel as intake. I have used some pieces styrofoam on the fans to help with vibration. I have also covered the bottom intake of the case to prevent dust build-up.

Most of the parts inside the rig have been bought used as I was on a tight budget.
So the specs are:

Processor: i5 3570k with stock cooler
Motherboard: P8Z77-V
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1866
GPU: None, using integrated intel hd 4000 since my GTS 250 died.
PSU: Aerocool VP PRO 500W (non modular)
Hard disks: Segate 320 GB & Hitachi 160GB, had a Samsung 500 GB that died.
Optical drive: Sony DVD RW
Accessories: Front 2.5" USB 3.0 bay.

I hope to upgrade my case, PSU, GPU and storage in the future. I am still saving for that.

Definitely not the cleanest build, cabling is a mess in this case. But it has worked for me since I do not usually open the case often, unless if some insect or some small lizard managed to get inside it. ;)

So, that's my build and my entry for this giveaway. Good luck to everyone. :)

wow. ;)

Sure thing mate, It's a 12cm Apevia knockoff anti vibration here's a link to this fan:
http://
and the 200mm fans are of the same brand, as well as the 140mm's.
The 120mm spiral led fans I linked you to are of a different Led type/layout than the others in this case.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the stock Mega-Flos that came with this case, but I was too lazy to change the Leds in them combined with really liking the UV Green look to the fan's shroud as far as the 200mm are concerned.

Nearly 6 year old laptop, Acer 5536 (See bottom of picture)
WO6Lbwr.jpg

It can kind of run Diablo 3 on the lowest settings. This notebook is notorious for overheating due to poor ventilation, so I took it apart and made giant vent holes around the CPU fan that improved it a lot. I also bought SATA cord extenders and have run the hard drive outside of the laptop to stop the HDD from overheating. I use an apple wireless keyboard and have a USB mouse with a long cable

AND despite all that tinkering, the one thing that has ever gone wrong is the monitor! After about 5 years, the backlight just gave. I removed the entire screen portion / top half of the laptop and run an HDMI cord to my TV now. I thus dubbed it the "Toshiba-top".

I am currently right NOW in the middle of building a new PC. In my pic you can see my corsair PSU which I have already. Unfortunately I have to wait until July to get all my other parts. I then happened across this thread. I am entering in the hopes that I can get a better GPU than I originally planned for my much needed upgrade.

Here's what I am planning on building. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8wVPgs

i7 3770

256 SSD + 2tb HDD
7770 2gb GPU
Bluray player
mATX motherboard of unknown model

Moved it to a Fractal design R4
Added 2 140mm fans (4 total)
Added Seagate 3tb HDD
Switched to a 7950 3gb

Intel i7 930 - 2.8GHz
Sapphire Radeon 6950
8GB RAM
128GB SSD
1TB HD
750W Rosewill PSU
Asus Xonar DX 7.1
NZXT phantom 530

So I basically ripped the mobo, CPU, and ram out of an oldish dell tower and stuck it in a new case... Got a GPU, PSU, SSD, and sound card along the way. Had to cut the brand new case a bit to jam the odd mobo in there, but it's not too horrifying. That cable management tho..

Short PSU cables don't allow me to make this casing beautiful from the inside. I'm in the market for new PSU and graphic card so it would be nice to save some money. :D
