It doesnt really change anything. I like the feeling of seeing more even though wide screen doesnt show anymore then reguler 4:3 in fact it shows less then my 21" crt since this monitors resolution is lower. If i had to pick i would have to say widescreen looks better. just wish more games supported it. Takes some time to get use to how a mouse moves on it though since it basicly just streatchs the screen.

I was thinking of getting a widescreen but I figure i'll stick with my 19' LCD until gaming gets a little better on them.

Is that StyleXP you use for your theme or something else?

yes style xp. I was never big on wide screen or lcd so this new monitor was a huge jump for me. I will say i would defanitly do it again i am more then impressed with this monitor.

RC 2 will eventually expire, hope you are not getting to comfortable with it. I used RC 1 for awhile on my laptop then it expired, I was just getting used to it. Expected though. Will RC2 work if you install over RC1? if you can even do that.

RC1 worked on my laptop perfectly, I didn't notice any performance issues really. 4.3GHz 256MB ATI 9800 1GB Ram. Maybe RC2 has more graphical improvements over RC1, I have yet to try it.

I still have yet to understand what was so funny. But im going to assume your one of those people where common sense is vary uncommon and explain it so youll understand it. He was most likely reffering to a 4300+ cpu and mistook it for a 4.3gig. You get it now? or is there more clarification needed.

Actualy there is one thing i dont understand. Its why people say the word n00b knowing it makes them look like a flaming retard.

Actually, 3.4 I just got it backwards my bad. I was just reading about overclocking 4+ghz and must have lost my mind. 4.3 is not that high, though heat would be a problem.

I was just trying to give a explination which there obviously was one. I naturaly assumed you didnt mean 4.3gig D: Then assman had to go and show me why he picked that name. I only assume he tends to make a ass of him self frequently.
