Power button on my case is dying?

I built my first PC almost 2 years ago. The case I use for it is a Corsair Carbide Spec 02. On their website, Corsair marketed it as a beginners friendly case. It has worked perfectly for me until recently. Now the power button has become less responsive. Instead of an instant click, I now have to press the power button dawn hard for a few seconds in order for the PC to turn on. I know it is the case and not the motherboard, as I have checked the front panel connectors and have tested the power-on button on the motherboard. I worry that over more use, the power button will eventually no longer work. Is there a cheap fix to this? I'd hate to have to buy a new case and reassemble this computer all over again.
