Power input: 1500 watts and Output power 1000 watts

I need to buy a step up/down voltage transformer for a microwave; but I cannot figure out what wattage to buy based on the product information. Power Input is 1500 watts, but Output power is 1000 watts. Please help. Thanks

Seems like others got this to work with your case, one guy did it with 1105 or something.
