Power not indicated

This is now sickening; my laptop is not even indicating any power when i connect the adapter. All rather it's just giving out a ticking sound.

Then that means i have to replace the PSU of my laptop, aint it?

yest it does. If you are on a budget you could probably find an aftermarket PSU for cheaper. Just take the broken one to an electronics shop and show it them, they should have a few options available from which you can choose.
