Power problems during game.

Computer ticks and shuts down when processor is 100% at Maximum Processor State. Do I need a new power supply????

Why do I have to keep my cpu maximum state at 50% for the computer to not tick or shut down??

monitor your temps also

do you have a gpu? if so that can also overheat and will also stress the PSU, so if you dont have a decent psu, it might be the problem
