So I want to buy an RTX 3060 Ti, but I have a very cheap power supply and don't want to risk overloading it and killing all of my components, so I am thinking about getting a new Power Supply. I will upgrade this PC, so I need something, that would be good for the future high-end components. What power supply should I buy, that would be very efficient and safe to use for about 10 years?

My current Power Supply : Chieftec GPS-500A8 ( 500W, 80+)

I am thinking on buying either Be Quiet! Dark Power 12 850W or Corsair RM850X. Would any of these power supplies fit in my case, which is Deepcool D-Shield V2.

If none of those PSU's fit in my case, what PSU would you recommend or should I buy a new case, although I would not like to spend too much on a case so the first option would be great.

All my other components :

PSU : Chieftec GPS-500A8
GPU: 1050 Ti
Case : Deepcool D-Shield V2
Motherboard : Asus Prime B450M-A
CPU : Ryzen 5 2600
SSD : 240GB M.2
HDD : 1TB 7200RPM
RAM : 2 x 8 GB DDR4 3200Mhz

Solution
The HDD cage in your case limits the length of the PSU.

The Be Quiet! would be too long (175mm) as you case allows a maximum PSU length of (170mm). The Corsair is shorter at (165mm for the 2018 model and 160mm for the 2021 model) and should fit just fine.

The Corsair is a very good PSU. I would buy it.
