Hello,
1)My power supply fan is 4 pin but my motherboard only has a 3 pin for the power supply fan. I looked around and people said that it was okay to hang off the yellow wire because it just controls fan speed but the fan will run at full speed all the time. Is this correct? And if so is it bad for the power supply to do this?

2) Also my case fans plug directly into my power supply through 4 pin molex, ive read they too will be running full speed all the time. Is this true? Is this dangerous to do?

Sorry, I dont know all that much about computers. Im still learning :)

1. Nope, if you can live with the noise, it'll be fine.
2. Yeah, there's no speed control, they will be running at full speed. This is not dangerous, only thing is, it will be loud, but at least your system will be cool.

Umm, a power supply fan doesn't get it's power from the motherboard
The yellow wire on a pwm fan connector would be pin 2 or 3 depending on which side you are counting from, no way that you would be able to let it hang off a 3 pin fan header

Don't connect floppy drive power to your motherboard
