Power Supply Gateway GT5432

I want to upgrade my son's Gateway GT5432 video. I would like to put something like a nVidia 9800 in and don't have the power for it. It has a 300W power supply with a 4-pin connector. Can I upgrade to a larger power supply (650W)? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yes! you can, I own a GT5432 myself and have put the nvidia 8800 gt into it with a 500W power supply...now the 8800 gt only requires a 400W (I believe) but going with a little more juice is always a good idea - more upgrades may be wanted/needed later on
