Power Supply has no fan connection for A8N-SLI

Hi, I have a computer with a A8N-SLI motherboard. Recently it stopped and I disconnected the powers supply and tested using the paper-clip test which indicated the power supply had failed. I bought a replacement power supply and intalled it. However, the new power suppy does not have the two wire lead that the old one had, which connects to a board connection named CHA1 FAN. The computer does not run, and I wonder if the reason is because there is no signal from the power supply fan?
