My brother's local MicroCenter had 2 of these open box for $400 last week!!! (May 13)

Not sure why/how MicroCenter is getting so many open box GPUs. They appear to be barely/not used.

Reviews of this card [cooler] seem very positive. For the record, if you're looking at review comparisions, the Asus Strix is definitely cheating. My brother ended up buying the 3060Ti Asus Strix for $550 a week prior. I'm pretty sure they use that same cooler all the way to the 3090. It's massive overkill for the 6700XT/3060Ti class of cards. From that benchmark, the Powercolor Red Devil being triple fan/slot is also clearly massive overkill for the 6700XT.

I'm not aware of MicroCenter's return policy, but I hope they're not going the way of Fry's. I swear every time I went there, a lot of their hardware was open box.

Not sure what happened with Fry's. I never bought from them.

When my brother bought his open box Strix 3060Ti for $540 the store person said they were getting these open box items in stock shipments, so not even necessarily local to a given store. Very strange. Most of these SKUs they've rarely/never had in stock, so I'm not sure how they're getting so many returns(?) that they're selling as open box.
