Powercolor Radeon HD 7770 Not Working on Asrock G41M-VS3 Motherboard

Hey guys,

A friend of mine bought a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Card last Month and tried it in my Rig and It worked just fine. This month my brother bought the same card but he couldn't get the sapphire one so he got Powercolor. But It's not working on my PC. I have a 450W Generic PSU. Tried updating the BIOS but nothing. Tried it with and without the 6 Pin ATX Power connector but the same result. The PC won't boot. Won't even do to the BIOS. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad card. And yes, you need the 6 pin inserted for the card to work.

Agreed. Either a bad card or the PSU cannot handle it.
The G41 chipset is very compatible so it shouldn't be a problem.
