Wow, this build is going FUBAR fast.
Reinstall your memory, make sure the sticks are locked in.
You can check temps in BIOS, not the most accurate but gives you a general idea. Make sure the HSF is installed properly, all 4 pins must go through to the bottom of the Motherboard.

Do you know if there is a way to monitor the cpu temp from windows, I have a feeling it's running a little too hot...
There are several:
Coretemp
Intel TAT
Speedfan
Or you can install the Easytune software that Gigabyte provides with the board and use its hardware monitor function. Just don't try to use this software to overclock.

I personally like Coretemp because you can minimize it and still see the temps for the two cores in the system tray area (right side of the taskbar).

DRAM error is means there's a problem with your RAM. Check to see if the RAM is seated properly, maybe remove and reinstall, if that still doesn't fix it try installing one stick at a time, and try that with all slots.

So after some...a lot...of messing around I've figured things out.

The temp is ok, I didn't realize how hot my room was.
The floppy drive was busted somehow, a new one fixed it, thus allowing me to install the raid drivers.
I'm not sure why I was getting DRAM errors, but they seem to have went away now.

Well my system is up and running for now I would just like to thank you guys so much for taking the time to help me with my problems and giving me ideas on how to fix them.
