Powerline Adapter Query

Hi,

In my property (lot) I have a house and an adjoining granny flat and while I have been using Wi-Fi for some time now with a USB Wifi Adapter in the Granny Flat, I'm considering that the powerline adapter may be the best solution for me to obtain stable internet speeds.

Is it possible for me to be having one powerline adapter at the main house where the router is and one in my room at the granny flat?

P.S I have no surge protectors

Does the second building share the main breaker panel ? If so then maybe. I would recommend direct burial ethernet cable. You can bury the ethernet cable just a few inches down by using a shovel -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNqOXul-GOQ
