Powerspec 7501 series

I have a powerspec 7501 with windows media xp
i have a real version of that disc that i bought for my old pc prior to this powerspec one that had the xp oem embedded in the hard drive.
Now, it crashed, i replaced the hard drive and microcenter cannot reimage it as the pc is old *2007 and they do not make the recovery discs anymore.

So i put in my Windows XP disc and it pressed enter to do a clean install and it says, Cannot find hard drive.
Yet, the hard has about 30 gigs of XP and programs in it loaded by microcenter.

This is a new hard drive, i took to them to reimage, they put in windows, i want to do a clean install.

Can someone tell me how to do this?

I can boot from a CD

you need to slow down and sort your story out
cos

its a new hard drive
they couldnt re-image it
there 30 gig of stuff on it already

and right there Im confused and so is every one else
