Prebuilt $700 Gaming PC

A friend of mine wants to buy a prebuilt pc with an intel i5 and a budget of $700 he has found this so far.

Even though it's console looking, it's still a full blown pc. It also has a gtx 750 ti which is way better than a r7 250.

While the GPU is better, the CPU is worse. Going from a quad core without hyperthreading to a dual core with hyperthreading. I would rather get the quad core personally.

Personally neither of those options are all that great...but I can't really make any suggestions for good quality and good priced pre-builts so I will stay out of this one for now.

It really depends on what he's playing. If he's playing GPU only intensive games, then a Pentium with a R9 270X will be 5x faster than a i5 quad core with a r7 250X.

Don't forget to factor into the prices and such for everything that a build like TechyInAZ is talking about doing would not cost more than that (no warranty costs) while buying from Best Buy or another store your friend will likely pay a few hundred dollars for a warranty.
