Hello,

I get this after turning on my computer. I restarted my computer then this problem is gone. A day or two before I turned on my computer I remember doing a windows update.

Is this a common problem after windows update where you cannot log into your local administrator account and instead you see your your stuff on your desktop missing like a fresh install look?

I also see a new TEMP folder created in C:\Users.

Is this a common problem issue or should I be concerned that my computer is behaving strangely due to be targeted/attacked/compromised?

If it is a common issue then how do I check for any corruption to my system/files to prevent this issue happening again in the future?

Cheers,

This has happened to some users. Both losing their "local" account profile and losing "administrator" account profiles, even when not using a local account, after some major Windows updates.

If you haven't already I'd read these and see if any of the solutions there work for you. If not, you may simply need to do a clean install of Windows using the latest build version installation media created using the media creation tool.
