Presario 1247 Notebook-Need Manual

My daughter, who lives in a different town, was just given a used Presario
1247 Notebook. She is very much a newbie and would like to get a copy of
the original instruction/installation/operating manual that probably came
with the machine.
I checked on-line at Compaq (HP) and have not found a complete manual
available for download (*.pdf).
Any ideas where I might be able to find the manual?

That's a start. the 1247 isn't specifically listed, but it should be good
enough for her. It seems to be an online manual. I did not find a link to
download as a pdf???

Sorry about that. Some M&S online guides have a link to download as a .PDF
file. That one apparently doesn't.
