Prime 95 stopped worker #2

For some reason, when i did a prime 95 test, all my other three cores work and are working, but for some reason core #2 stops for some reason.

But i dont understand why it says that. All my games run fine, and i have done other stress tests and they have seemed to work. Why is it stopping in prime95?

Prime 95 is like the ultimate CPU/memory stress test.
If their is a fault it will fail.
Many games etc... will continue with a small error and you may or may not notice.

My CPU is overclocked at 4.5 ghz with a voltage (on all cores) of 1.280v. Is there something wrong, because i did not do that manually, i chose a motherboard preset

(Oh and btw i did the small ftt test)

I did an AIDA 64 Extreme test and all cores were maxed out and did not fail. Here are the results:

yeah that is not going to work you need prime version 26.6

Ohhhhh lol. All that work just to find out that I got the wrong version. I will check and see if that works.

I have an i5 7600k running at 4.5 ghz, with a EVGA GTX 1060 SC and a ThermalTake Litepower 500 watt psu

you ened to replace that powersupply, and im sure prime will crash with the version i mentioned.

Is that the real cause, because with AIDA 64 Extreme it ran just fine. If so, should i replace it with better quality one like Corsair VS550 watt psu

I ran the test with version 26.6 and it ran fine with no errors. Thanx for the help superninja, and i will hopefully replace that power supply during this year.
