[SOLVED] Prime95 freezes PC

So guys after a long time I probably finally know what is with my PC. It was freezing only while gaming. Then I run the Prime95 and CPU was at 100%, memory about 90%. After 15 seconds it freezed the PC and I needed to restart hard. Please what can I do with that? Is it my CPU or RAM ? Should I take the voltage down or?

And whatever overclock setting you might have set up... clock speeds and voltages...would be helpful.

So I turned off TURBO MODE for CPU in BIOS and freezing stopped. How is this possible?

YOu should not have to turn off turbo feature...

Check your CPU temps under load via HWMonitor...

Perhaps your CPU cooler is not fastened down properly on all four corners...

Maybe your system is being power starved under even a moderately heavy gaming loadload..

Do you have a known good PSU you can try? (Do not reuse ANY modular cables from old PSU with new one!)

I have brand new PSU. My temps are fine. I saw on the internet that people have problem with turbo mode.
