I have an i5 6600k that I'm trying to get to 4.8Ghz but core 4 seems to always have a hard time keeping up with the other cores. I've tried increasing the vcore to ridiculous numbers just see if it would work and it would either bsod or worker 4 would just stop again in Prime95. Right now I'm running a per core OC with the first 3 cores running at 4.8 and the fourth is at 4.6 which is the max it can go, all at 1.4v and it's proven to be a solid OC so far (could probably go with a little lower voltage but I haven't tested yet). I have two questions now, is it ok to have the cores set to oddly different frequencies than each other? And is there something I can do to get core 4 working like the others or is that just my luck with this specific chip? Thanks.
