Do you need color? If not, a laser printer is way cheaper in the long run to operate. The cost per page printed is 1/4 or even less than with an inkjet. If you can find a good used HP 2100 or a 2200 they are very reliable and are good with toner use. Just make sure you test it first.

You can print some pages in them to see if everything is ok

+1 ^ make sure there is no gear slipping noises, paper goes though, the toner sticks to the paper, no ghost image on the paper from the fuser.
