Hi,
I decided to built an LCD projector from an overhead projector and settled on an IIYAMA PLE385 monitor.
Basically the dismantling was a bit rough, had to brute-force a few grounds. I'll solder those back together, no problem.
The problem is that the bottom circuit board of the lcd plate is connected to the left circuit board with a very short data cable. That means that I can't spread the circuits apart, and the bottom 3cm and the left 1cm of the lcd plate will be covered, no matter what. It also makes mounting the plate on the projecter a rather challenging task..
Anyone have ideas how to go about this? Is there a way to find a longer data cable, perhaps at an Illiama service shop or something?
