I strongly suggest that you replace the disk first. I think it's a standard 2.8" SATA part.
If the installation process is coded to refuse to install to a disk whose SMART statistics say that it is failing, then you probably can't install it to a disk whose SMART statistics say that it is failing.
Do you speak or read French? While I'm not familiar with that behavior of the Windows 8 installation, it's saying that the disk is about to fail and so it cannot (I suspect will not) install Win8 to it. If Mint doesn't do a disk health check before its installation, that would explain why Mint installs.

A few questions if I may. What kind of PC is that - store-built, home-built, new, old, notebook, desktop? What OS did it come with, if store built? Do you have access to another disk drive that will fit in it, so you could try the installation on the other drive?

Would you be willing to download and boot off of, say, the Parted Magic distribution to check the disk's SMART statistics and do disk tests? My first guess here is that there is a problem with the hard drive or possibly the controller. If the hard drive, using another one will solve the problem. If the controller, you may be out of luck.

See this link for a similar case.
