Problem with GA-8IPE1000 and CPU FAN

As I use my computer under high stress, the processor temperature rises
rapidly – yet, the CPU fan does not increase in RPM as the temps rise.
I am running a P4 3E – idle temp is around 40c however, with 5 minutes
of playing a game (or something requiring substantial processing power)
I am looking at 60c.

However, the CPU fan remains at a constant 2600 RPM. It has the ability
to run at 5000 RPM. Is there any way of correcting this problem?

when I get the comp it working good but now it can't go over 2600

Check the Bios settings

Should either be flat or intelgent control, these is a setting in the bios
for this..

Unless its a Intel fan that has Temp control..
